With so much other ringing going on in Cambridge (and everywhere!) on 6th May for the King's coronation, I thought I'd struggle to get six ringers, and resorted to 'bribery' of prosecco and cakes. I needn't have worried; 24 ringers turned up and rang, plus a 10 year old having his first go, and a baby! It was wonderful to see ringers from Great St Mary's, St Andrew the Great, St Bene't's, St Edwards, St Clement's, and a couple from out of town. New connections were made as we rang call changes and methods together. The refreshments were polished off too.
